Social sharing on mobile devices increased by 19 percent in the second quarter of 2014.. Smartphone use grew 28 percent.
Seventy-five percent of all Twitter and Pinterest sharing comes from mobile devices. Only 50 percent of Facebook sharing is mobile.
Mobile users pin three times as often and tweet two times as often as desktop users.
Users aged 55 and older accounted for 43 percent of social activity on tablets.
