When employees don’t have computer access at work, managers must share vital information directly with their teams.

Unfortunately, some managers are better at this than others, and the communications team never really knows whether the information was delivered.

Relying on cascading alone is also a missed opportunity for building engagement. Non-desk employees want to hear from their corporate leaders.

In Tribe’s national study, querying employees in jobs ranging from manufacturing to retail, 84 percent of respondents said they receive “not enough” communication from the top.
