Apostrophe use made easy

Instead of inserting them randomly into your copy and hoping no one will notice, learn the right way to use apostrophes. It’s easy.

For such a small punctuation mark, the apostrophe can cause quite a bit of trouble.

When does “its” use an apostrophe? If you’re talking about the Johnsons’ cat, does the apostrophe go before or after the “s”? Do you refer to decades as “the ’90s” or “the 90’s”?
