30 jobs in the PR and marketing world

Interested candidates can work at a PR agency in the best U.S. city for jobs, according to Glassdoor.

Communications professionals—whether they work at agencies or for brands—know that not all positions are created equal. As it turns out, not all cities are, either.

Glassdoor published its 25 Best Cities for Jobs Report on Tuesday, revealing the top places in the United States to work. The company looked at three factors: the ease of finding a job, cost of living and job satisfaction.

Raleigh, N.C., made the top of Glassdoor’s list, with Kansas City, Missouri; Oklahoma City; Austin, Texas; Seattle; Salt Lake City; San Jose, California; Louisville, Kentucky; San Antonio, Texas; and Washington, D.C., rounding out the top 10 cities.

You can take advantage of what Raleigh has to offer with this week’s featured job listings.

FleishmanHillard is looking for a social and digital strategy analyst, and Ketchum is looking for an account manager of marketing and public relations. Both PR firms made The Holmes Report list of top 10 global PR agencies for 2015.

The position at FleishmanHillard requires one to three years of digital media or PR agency experience, and Ketchum’s job opening requires candidates to have four to fix years’ experience in communications.

Both job openings require knowledge and working expertise in a variety of PR strategies, including media relations, research and campaign creation. Candidates interested in working at FleishmanHillard should also have experience working with social media analytics tools such as Sprinklr, Radian6 and Quintly.

Candidates applying at FleishmanHillard in Raleigh also must be familiar with Google Analytics and AdWords, as well as with enterprise tools such as Omniture and Unica.
