30 jobs in the PR and marketing world

This week’s featured listings offers candidates with the right qualifications chances to work with Google—the top organization for corporate social responsibility.

For many communications professionals, it’s not enough to work for reputable companies—they want to be a part of organizations that give back.

The Reputation Institute recently published its Global CSR RepTrak 100, which revealed the top organizations worldwide with outstanding corporate social responsibility efforts. (The report stands with other reputation management studies and tools for PR pros.)

Google topped the list for the second year in a row, followed by BMW, The Walt Disney Co., Microsoft, Daimier, Lego, Apple, Intel, Rolls-Royce Aerospace and Rolex.

The report came from a survey of 61,000 people in 15 countries, and it may read like a dream-career list for job seekers. With this week’s featured opening, you can grab a position with the CSR leader.

Google is looking for a head of brand marketing for Google Fiber in Mountain View, California.

Candidates should have at least eight years of experience with advertising, marketing or brand management along with a proven track record of using integrated marketing efforts and managing communications teams.

Candidates should also excel at storytelling, managing a budget, measuring efforts and planning campaigns.

The job listing says the right candidate will be challenged to “think bigger than ever before.”

There are opportunities outside the United States, as well. Yahoo is looking for a communications manager for YouTube in Germany.
