I’m sure I’m not the only PR professional who’s more than a little weary of the flurry Wired magazine’s editor Chris Anderson stirred up with his sanctimonious attack on PR professionals and their pitching tactics. (Sanctimonious because the ink had barely dried on The New York Times story Anderson’s tirade spawned when he was asked to comment about unsolicited and untargeted spam Wired’s PR people send, including ones about an upcoming TV appearance featuring Anderson.)
