Do you ask visitors to fill out a registration form when they come to your website?
If you do, you may want to rethink it.
An infographic from Janrain explains that 86 percent of people leave a website when asked to create a new account.
But their reasoning may surprise you. A whopping 50 percent say it’s because they don’t want to create a new password.
In fact, two in five people think scrubbing a toilet would be better than coming up with a new password.
But don’t fret. If you really want to get visitors’ information, 77 percent prefer to sign in with one of their existing social media IDs.
And, 60 percent would give you more information if they knew how you were going to use it.
