  • Social sharing on mobile devices increased by 19 percent in the second quarter of 2014.. Smartphone use grew 28 percent.
  • Seventy-five percent of all Twitter and Pinterest sharing comes from mobile devices. Only 50 percent of Facebook sharing is mobile.
  • Mobile users pin three times as often and tweet two times as often as desktop users.
  • Users aged 55 and older accounted for 43 percent of social activity on tablets.
