1. Build a library of user content: Encourage customers to share photos and videos of their purchases on social media. More than 90 percent (92 percent) of consumers worldwide say they trust word-of-mouth more than any other form of advertising.
2. Capture content from promotion participants: If you run a contest or promotion, have participants complete a sign-up form. Ask them to grant you permission to reuse their content on your website and ads.
3. Turn your website into a social hub: Share the best user content on social media with links back to your website. Feature user content on your website, too. When consumers see both professional and user-generated content about products, their engagement with your brand rises by 28 percent.
