Do you remember when you used email to forward chain letters to everyone on your contact list, because if you didn’t send the email to 10 people within 15 minutes, you would have bad luck for the rest of your life?

Thankfully, email has come a long way, an infographic from myMail reports.

While 77 percent of people use email for personal reasons and 45 percent use it for business, people also use email to learn about products (43 percent), receive discounts (42 percent) and get news (41 percent).
