Michael A. Cousin
Internal Communications Strategist - Idaho National Laboratory
Michael A. Cousin has spent more than two decades helping organizations say hard things clearly. He started in advertising and marketing agencies, moved in-house, and landed where few communicators do: inside the nation's premier nuclear energy research laboratory. At the Idaho National Laboratory, he works in internal communications, advising leaders on how to communicate through organizational change, policy shifts and strategic priorities. He contributes to the internal channels and tools that help a technically complex, mission-driven workforce stay informed and aligned. Lately, much of his attention has gone toward how AI tools show up at work, not just how to announce them, but how to build the employee trust that makes adoption actually stick. He holds a bachelor's degree in communication from Brigham Young University-Idaho and an MBA from Western Governors University.
