Amber Micala Arnold is Vice President of DE&I at MWW, where she develops, leads, and advises on effective communications strategies and brand reputation programs through the lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Amber serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to a wide range of companies, organizations, and leaders on how to develop authentic messaging, perspectives, and campaigns that resonate with diverse stakeholders, drives social impact, and fosters inclusive change within and beyond their four walls. Amber particularly specializes in integrated storytelling, executive visibility and thought leadership.

​Amber is also the founder and chair of MWW’s internal Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council, which she conceptualized and launched in 2018 to support the agency’s talent and culture strategies. Through her leadership of the Council, she provides insights and actionable solutions to the agency’s executive leadership team on DE&I-related issues and leads the agency’s initiative to provide pro bono PR services for small businesses owned by underserved and underrepresented entrepreneurs.

Amber serves on the Board of Trustees for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Foundation and is a member of the Forbes Communications Council. She holds a master’s degree in Strategic Communications from Columbia University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Cultural Anthropology from Duke University. ​She hails from Oakland, California and currently lives in New York City, traveling frequently between both coasts.
