Janelle Carter Brevard is chief storyteller for the National Association of Realtors, responsible for the organization’s internal and external storytelling, including the mission of capturing and telling Realtors’ stories. Brevard has more than 20 years of communications experience. She spent 10 years with The Associated Press covering Capitol Hill, then transitioned to political speechwriting, serving as the top scribe for Sen. Elizabeth Dole and Secretary Condoleezza Rice. Brevard is a member of the inaugural cohort of the Presidential Leadership Scholars, an executive education-style group led by Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
