Jennifer Jones
Communications Strategist - Formerly with Microsoft
Jennifer Jones is a strategic communications leader whose work sits at the intersection of technology, organizational change and human behavior. She serves as Principal for Corporate Communications at a national member-owned financial services organization, where she supported enterprise transformation and led the association-wide generative AI rollout and change strategy for several internal tools, including the organization's custom GPT platforms. In her previous roles, she helped senior leaders guide employees through rapid advances in AI and digital modernization. She brings extensive experience translating complex innovation into clear and grounded communication that strengthens trust and accelerates adoption. Prior to this role, she shaped executive and employee engagement efforts at Microsoft and Intel, contributing to early Copilot introduction work at Microsoft and leading communications for Intel’s Data Center and AI Chief Technology Officer during a period of significant change. Across these roles, she has observed the practical realities of AI integration: where employees struggle, what fosters confidence and how leader communication influences uptake.
Her approach combines strategic narrative development with insights from behavioral science, enabling her to design communication programs that anticipate human responses to technological change. She partners closely with executives to establish communication rhythms, clarify decision pathways, and support cultures that remain steady during periods of rapid evolution. Jones’s background in consulting sharpened her ability to listen for unspoken concerns, assess systemwide impact and translate stakeholder needs into coherent communication strategies. She continues to draw on that discipline in her current work, particularly when aligning cross-functional teams around complex initiatives. She is committed to helping organizations navigate the emerging AI landscape with clarity, steadiness, and respect for how people process change, and has written a book to help leaders and communications folks navigate this (coming soon!). Her goal is to help make workplaces better places.
