Kristina Goel is the director of employee communications and engagement at American Medical Association. A career communications strategist who has developed, implemented and evaluated successful communications solutions on behalf of corporations, government agencies and associations, she  has rebuilt AMA's employee communications strategy and re-imagined all supporting channels, including a new digital workspace. Results of these changes have surpassed all six KPIs, from internal email reduction to increased employee engagement. Goel is a leader with the experience to drive increased reputational relevance and a skilled manager of both people and projects. She has won many communications awards, including recognition for the AMA’s 2017 employee engagement program; an ACE Award in 2014 for leading the “best in-house communications team” in the U.S.; and a 2011 CLIO Healthcare award for social media. She is an excellent editor and writer who can eloquently distill complex concepts into key insights, serves as a trusted advisor, and excels in the role of coach for leaders and colleagues.
