Sabrena Pringle

Sabrena Pringle is the Director of External Communications & Public Relations at the American Diabetes Association, which she joined in June 2018. With more than 10 years of experience in communications and social media strategy, she has contributed to the success of outreach programs for organizations such as The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Advancement Project, Zimbabwe Education Fund (ZEF) and Head Start. During Pringle's tenure at the Associated Press, she trained numerous reporters on the effective use of social media and how to properly use it to enhance their stories' reach. Previously, Pringle served as the Communications and Social Media front-runner for the Head Start Information and Communication Center, a federally contracted program. She was responsible for day-to-day social media strategy as well as monitoring and postings via Facebook, Twitter and Google+, serving as the gate keeper for all drafted and released communications. She also managed the long-term strategic campaign development for the Head Start Information Communication Center for the complete duration of the contract. Pringle has a passion for everything social media, communications and public relations, especially when her efforts are positively impacting the community.
