Starbucks whips up spooky thrills with Zombie Frappuccino

After the tremendous success of the Unicorn-themed beverage, the coffee chain is attempting to catch viral success again this Halloween.

Dead or undead, Starbucks is offering a caffeine fix.

After the doorbuster it had with the Unicorn Frappuccino, the coffee chain is launching another well-timed beverage: The Zombie Frappuccino.

The drink, available through Halloween, was finally acknowledged by the company in a tweet:

The cream-based Frappuccino uses caramel apple powder (in a zombie-green hue) and pink powder, and is topped with whipped cream in the shape of a brain. Plus, there’s a pink mocha drizzle evoking the obligatory trickle of blood.

Reviews on Twitter and Instagram have been overwhelmingly positive, despite the drink’s macabre inspiration:
