In her short time at Masonite, she launched the organization’s first-ever multi-channel advertising campaign “sound decision,” which earned honorable mentions at the 2022 PR Daily Social Media and Digital Awards in the categories of marketing campaign and multichannel campaign. Jennifer’s career spans the intersections of marketing, communications, strategy and digital, with previous experience as CMO of the Norwegian tech startup Decision and past roles at Edelman, HSN, General Motors and L Brands, among others. Vice President for Communications—Northeastern University Renata Nyul is vice president for communications at Northeastern University where she leads a broad portfolio of strategic communications functions designed to tell the story of the latest innovations at the university, engage internal and external audiences, and promote the institution at a global scale. She oversees the university’s media relations efforts to manage stories in top-tier press in major media markets within the U.S. and beyond; an award-winning in-house daily news operation, Northeastern Global News (NGN) that covers the university and the world; digital design and development to showcase the storytelling done by NGN’s team of journalists; enterprise social media including 24/7 listening and analytics and content creation across platforms; and the award-winning photography and film production to feature the university community. In addition, she plays a key role in crisis communications. Co-Founder and Senior Partner—Ragan Consulting Group Jim Ylisela is co-founder and senior partner of Ragan Consulting Group. He is an award-winning veteran Chicago journalist and a former publisher of Ragan.com. He brings more than 30 years of experience in writing, editing, communications research and consulting.
