Subway curtly announces end of relationship with Jared Fogle
The sandwich chain reacted Wednesday to news that Fogle had taken a plea deal on charges of possessing child pornography.
Subway already distanced itself from spokesman Jared Fogle in July, when FBI agents searched his home on “unspecified charges.” Now that Fogle has reportedly accepted a plea deal and those charges have been revealed to involve child pornography, the sandwich chain has cut ties completely.
This Wednesday tweet was Subway’s entire statement about the situation:
We no longer have a relationship with Jared and have no further comment.
