Survey finds LinkedIn more valuable than Twitter, Facebook

Nearly 60 percent of respondents in a recent Performics study said LinkedIn is an important social network, though they don’t visit it as often as other sites.

Only about 22 percent of respondents in a recent Performics social media survey said they visit LinkedIn on a daily basis. But 59 percent of the 2,997 active social media users surveyed said they believe it’s important to have an account at the business-oriented social networking site, more than any competitor.

Last year, a similar survey found that 41 percent of respondents thought LinkedIn was important.
