Job Type: Full Time, Remote
Salary: $70,000-$250,000 full compensation package
Account Executive
Ragan Communications is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious sales contributor, eager to expand their knowledge and experience. Demonstrates a relentless drive to exceed sales targets and a passion for continuous learning. Ragan is the number-one media brand serving communicators, marketers, and HR professionals. We’re seeking a proactive and hungry sales driver to steer our premium brands via elite memberships for Ragan’s Communications Leadership Council.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and close new business.
- Work productively within CRM database for accurate sales tracking and reporting.
- Persistently dig into data across multiple platforms to uncover top targets.
- Collaborate with marketing team to drive sales.
- Research, plan and execute ongoing competitive market analysis.
- Attend conferences and networking events to build network.
- Maintain fluency in Ragan’s suite of products and services and how they deliver value in the marketplace.
- Support sales leadership team with business-building projects and duties.
Attributes:
- Experience using CRM software and productivity tools.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence to engage professionally with executive- and C-level contacts.
- Strong customer advocacy with motivation to help others solve problems via product benefits.
- Demonstrated success with surpassing target sales and retention goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-3 years’ experience in B2B sales
- Remote (or option to work in Chicago headquarters)
