Corporate Communications Specialist
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Corporate Communications Specialist is responsible for providing internal communications support by anticipating, preparing for, and managing moderately complex corporate communications issues for one or more of the following functions: internal communications, executive communications, multi-media, reporting to Corporate Communications department.
How You Will Make An Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Researches, develops, reviews and/or edits communications materials.
- Partners with communications team colleagues and leaders to implement strategic communications plans in support of the organization’s overall priorities.
- Provides support for internal Town Halls and events, including planning, production, pre/post communications and day-of logistics.
- Provides input and counsel to colleagues on departmental projects.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, or a related field; 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, And Experiences
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish ideal)
- MS Office knowledge (Powerpoint, Excel).
- Knowledge of collaboration technologies (Webex, Teams, Streaming video)
- Familiarity with information technology, especially digital and video means of communication
