Our Global Communications organization is responsible for protecting and elevating Hilton’s reputation, driving brand and consumer communications, inspiring and engaging Team Members, and connecting owners and other partners with Hilton’s purpose and business goals.

What will I be doing?
With a new era of travel dawning, Hilton’s Executive Committee (EC) are Hilton’s key storytellers. They play a critical role in telling the story of our business around the world, reenergizing Team Members, and leading the team into the promising new future of hospitality. As part of the Executive Communications team, you will work cross-functionally to provide creative, and strategic internal and external communications support for our EC and serve as a center of excellence for executive communications across the enterprise. You will lead internal and external communications for the Chief Brand & Communications Officer (CBO), as well as serve as a trusted communications advisor.

More specifically, you will:

  • Partner with the CBO to drive his narrative internally and externally through strategic partnership and tactical support, including editorial planning and project management.
  • Develop relationships with the senior leadership team of the Brand Organization and members of other key functions with the goal of better amplifying the brand’s message to internal and external audiences.
  • Craft all CBO communications materials – including but not limited to internal and external event remarks, enterprise and function-specific communications, and executive social media content.
  • Staff the CBO at internal and external appearances, including both live and virtual events, and partner with event organizers on all event logistics and briefing materials.
  • Represent the interests of the CBO in forums where communications guidance is requested or required to inform messaging or event strategies.

What are we looking for?
The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Proven expertise in executive communications and/or internal communications
  • Strong interpersonal and writing skills, including experience working directly with senior executives
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, problem solve, think strategically, connect dots, and implement tasks efficiently
  • Experience with cross-functional partnership and collaboration

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of experience in internal and/or external communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related fields
  • Experience supporting executive communications, social media, and leading/collaborating with agency partners, internal teams, and cross-functional working groups
  • Three (3) years of management experience and/or experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Travel up to 25% of the time

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Ten (10) years of experience in internal or external communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related fields
  • Experience working with a large global organization and/or a mid-to-large-size communications agency
  • Experience within the travel, tourism, or service industries
