As the Talent & People Operations Coordinator, you will report directly to our VP of People Operations and be in a support position related to our agency’s people ops initiatives. You should have 2+ years of HR experience or a previous support role that touched talent and/or HR-related responsibilities. One of the most important aspects of this role will be your high level of attention to detail and organization, as well as being able to naturally connect with people. Emotional intelligence (EQ), HR functions, and agency operations will be continued areas of growth in this position. WHAT YOU GET TO DO – [Day-to-Day Supporter of People Operations and Talent Initiatives]

  • Support and drive the full-cycle recruitment process alongside the VPPO
  • Train on Culture Index data analytics software and help run the process related to recruitment needs
  • Actively participate in employee engagement opportunities and find ways to improve our culture at BLASTmedia
  • Assist and lead employee onboarding and off-boarding process as needed
  • Co-manage our internal HR and talent-related HRIS and ATS software systems (bob, Teamtailor)
  • Own the hygiene of people’s data on HRIS, by regularly auditing the people data, preparing reports for the VPPO, and identifying areas of improvement and automation opportunities
  • Ensure and maintain data integrity in our HR systems with a high level of accuracy (bob, Teamtailor)
  • Research and stay up on the latest HR and people ops trends (employee engagement, talent acquisition, total rewards, etc.)
  • Support and develop employment branding initiatives
  • Sit on our internal agency committees (Recruiting, DEI, Social/Volunteer, Wellness) and help support and guide agency-related people ops efforts
    • Attend meetings and take the lead when the VPPO is not able to attend
  • Assist with monthly staff meeting decks as needed
  • Help schedule HR-related initiatives on VPPO’s calendar
  • Assist in all-company admin duties related to people ops initiatives

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 2+ years prior experience supporting the talent, general HR, or people ops capacity is needed. Your experience in a start-up/scale-up organization or agency would be preferred, but not required.
  • Obsession with details and organization
  • A can-do, make-it-happen attitude with an ability to establish and maintain positive relationships that foster results
  • A team player approach to work
  • Strong communication skills are required
  • Technology-driven – being sharp in the Google suite and Apple products are a big plus
  • Ability to stay calm under high-pressure people situations
  • Bachelor’s degree in a likeminded field is preferred (HR, Public Relations, Marketing, business, Organizational Psychology)
  • HR Certification is a plus but not required (SHRM-CP, PHR, aPHR)
