We’re seeking a dynamic Writer/Director/Producer skilled in video/audio production and live event production to join our team. You’ll manage video projects from concept to post-production, ensuring top-quality results while staying within budget. Your role includes writing impactful scripts, directing talent, and producing content for our various platforms and events. You’ll also oversee live event production, coordinating with talent agents, vendors, and key stakeholders to deliver seamless and engaging experiences. Additionally, you’ll handle all promotional efforts for major events, working closely with internal teams and external partners. Some evening availability and overnight travel is required for event production. Join us to create compelling media that inspires and informs!
What You’ll Do
Video/Audio Production
As a producer, responsible for budgeting video projects. Seeks cost-saving measures without compromising broadcast-quality production values. As a writer, perform all research, interviews, and background work to create video scripts with the greatest impact and benefit to members. As a director, responsible for the performance of members, legislators, and professional actors. Supervise the casting of actors. Directs post-production including edit decisions, graphics, and music selection.
Produce all video programming for floridarealtors.org, Media site, Convention Microsite, Inaugural Banquet, Great American Realtor Days, Annual Awards Luncheon, our Products/Services/Events, Florida Realtors PAC, promotional videos for events and all major fundraising initiatives.
Write, produce, and direct audio programs for members to use with clients, customers, or sales associates.
Live Event Production
Manage all communication and pre-production planning with production companies, talent agents for entertainment, speaker’s bureau for keynote speakers, video crews, hotel A/V staff, and other vendors.
Lead contact with all departments and members/officers who provide content for live events.
Work closely with Director of Meeting Services to coordinate room availability and A/V requirements at hotels. Negotiate final room diagram to ensure seamless execution of production set up and member comfort and enjoyment.
Lead contact and contract negotiator with talent agents who provide entertainment/keynote addresses for live events.
Develop all pre-production schedules including rehearsals with presenters whether members, officers, or professional talent.
Function as head writer for all live events including original creative treatments and adaptations of content provided by other departments and the leadership team.
Provide direction and fine tuning of all presentations to ensure smooth, professional presentations by all participants.
Coach, instruct, critique and enhance the performance of all members of Leadership Team and other presenters.
Coordinate, produce, and direct multiple events/ presentations.
Other Duties
Organize the flow, timing, and performance for management team and members who appear on live webcasts.
Interface with IT department and external freelancers for tech rehearsals prior to going live.
Print, website, and radio advertising (promotional, informational, motivational)
Develop and execute all tasks on timeline for promotion of annual convention & trade expo. Serve as a liaison between Communications and Professional Development staff.
Develop and execute timeline for Great American Realtor Days with internal employees and outside vendors.

Qualified applicants will possess:
Bachelor’s degree in multimedia and video production, digital media and journalism, film and television, or related educational degree, or applicable work experience
10+ years of experience in the field of video production
5+ years of experience in the field of live events as writer, producer, director
Strong leadership skills and management ability
Fine-tuned presentation skills and ability to oversee a wide variety of projects simultaneously
Self-starter who understands the production process for video and live shows
Excellent organizational and communication skills with intense attention to details and accuracy
Proven ability to excel in fast-paced work environment, directing/producing multiple projects with multiple deadlines
Ability to work as part of a team or individually with minimal supervision
Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends for scheduled event production
