A recent article claims bloggers are the noveau rich, but the assertion is a tad misleading

Somewhere there are bloggers earning six-figure salaries. Word has it there are even some making millions.

At least that’s what freelance writer Jessica Santina claims in her recent Yahoo! article, “10 Great Careers You’ve Probably Never Heard Of” where the number six career is blogger.

“Top bloggers can make six figures, and a handful are said to make millions,” she wrote.

Her assertion seems misleading. Does she mean Bill Marriott, CEO of Marriott hotels and corporate blogger, earns millions of dollars so he’s one of these bloggers “said to make millions?” That seems plausible, although misleading in the context of her article.

So, Jessica Stance, please explain. What bloggers are earning millions? The people blogging for free want to know.
