A blogger claiming to be a Chicago Tribune employee is griping about morale problems inside the paper—behind the backs of management.

Tribune Two Step is a detailed, gossipy and tragically humorous blog about working at the paper where, like at other newspapers, the threat of layoffs looms heavy. The blog is not sanctioned by the Tribune Company, which owns the Chicago Tribune.

Chicago Two Step is one of two blogs from alleged Tribune Company employees. The other blog, titled Tell Zell, started in May and comes from an alleged employee of Tribune-owned The Los Angeles Times. Details of the blog appeared in a recent New York Times article, not a surprise since both blogs are popular among newspaper employees past and present.
