The data behind the march back to the office

Despite recent RTO headlines, hybrid work remains resilient. Here’s the data from senior communicators.

According to Bloomberg, banking giant JPMorgan Chase will soon tell all employees they must return to the office five days a week.

The move, which hasn’t been publicly announced yet and is still subject to change, will bring an end to the company’s hybrid work policy for office workers. It follows on the heels of large companies like AT&T and Amazon that are in the midst of implementing a full return-to-office plan in early 2025.

Both continue to deal with the resulting challenges. Reports indicate AT&T workers are jockeying for limited desk spaces and struggling with parking and elevator access. For its part, Amazon has delayed its plans in 40 offices due to a lack of space, Business Insider reported.
