Have Any Questions?

What is the Leadership Retreat & Summit for Women?

The Leadership Retreat & Summit for Women is Ragan Communications' exclusive women's executive leadership retreat and leadership experience designed for senior women executives and leaders with 10+ years of experience in communications, marketing, HR and corporate affairs. Held Sept. 23-25, 2026, at the award-winning Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, Arizona, this women's leadership retreat blends executive leadership development, peer networking, wellness experiences and practical learning in an intimate setting designed to help women lead with greater confidence, influence and resilience.

Who should attend the Leadership Retreat & Summit for Women?

The Leadership Retreat & Summit for Women is designed for accomplished women executives and senior leaders with 10 or more years of professional experience who are ready to elevate their leadership, expand their executive network and invest in their continued professional development.

Ideal attendees include directors, senior directors, vice presidents, chief communications officers, chief marketing officers, HR executives and other senior leaders responsible for communications, public relations, marketing, employee experience, corporate affairs, internal communications and organizational leadership.

Attendance is intentionally limited to just 60 women, creating an intimate environment where you'll build meaningful relationships, engage in candid conversations with peers and speakers, and connect with a trusted community of accomplished women leaders facing many of the same opportunities and challenges.

Is the Leadership Retreat & Summit for Women focused on communications?

While many attendees lead communications teams, the retreat is also designed for senior women executives across marketing, HR, corporate affairs, employee experience and related leadership functions. The leadership strategies, executive coaching, executive networking, business acumen and leadership development sessions are designed for senior leaders responsible for leading teams, influencing business strategy and driving organizational change, regardless of department.

What makes this retreat different from other women's leadership conferences?

Unlike traditional conferences built around packed agendas and crowded exhibit halls, this experience is intentionally designed as an executive retreat that combines executive leadership development, executive networking, wellness and strategic thinking.

You'll combine executive-level learning with peer coaching, wellness experiences, leadership conversations and dedicated time to think strategically about your career and your organization. The smaller format encourages honest conversations, stronger networking and deeper learning that simply isn't possible at larger events.

Is the Leadership Retreat & Summit for Women worth the investment?

This retreat is designed to deliver far more than three days of education. It's an investment in your leadership growth, executive network and long-term professional development.

Many organizations invest in sending senior leaders because the retreat combines executive leadership development, professional development, executive networking and wellness into one all-inclusive experience designed to create lasting organizational impact long after the retreat concludes.

Your registration includes luxury accommodations, chef-prepared meals, executive leadership sessions, wellness programming, networking events, Women's Circle membership, post-retreat programming and practical leadership tools frameworks, tools and strategies you can apply immediately. Just as valuable are the relationships you'll build with fellow senior women leaders facing many of the same opportunities and challenges.

Beyond the learning itself, many attendees say the relationships they build, leadership confidence they gain and fresh perspective they return with become some of the most valuable outcomes of the retreat.

What does the all-inclusive registration include?

Your all-inclusive registration includes nearly every aspect of your executive retreat experience, allowing you to focus entirely on learning, networking, wellness and personal renewal.

It includes:

  • Two-night stay at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa
  • All meals, snacks and networking receptions
  • Executive leadership sessions and workshops
  • Wellness experiences including yoga, sound bath, guided walks, Qi Gong and more
  • Retreat workbook, attendee directory and curated swag bag
  • Complimentary membership in the Ragan Women's Circle
  • Exclusive post-retreat virtual meetups
  • Opportunity to schedule a personalized one-on-one executive coaching session with an executive leadership, communications, culture or wellness coach

When and where is the Leadership Retreat & Summit for Women?

The retreat takes place Sept. 23-25, 2026, at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa, located at 5700 E. McDonald Drive in Paradise Valley, Arizona.

The resort is approximately 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and just minutes from Scottsdale's restaurants, shopping and attractions.

Why was Sanctuary Camelback Mountain selected?

Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa is one of Arizona's premier luxury resort destinations, renowned for its breathtaking Camelback Mountain views, award-winning spa, exceptional dining and world-class accommodations.

Unlike a traditional conference hotel, Sanctuary provides a peaceful, exclusive setting intentionally chosen to support executive reflection, executive leadership development and meaningful connection. The serene desert environment encourages strategic thinking, authentic conversations and the opportunity to step away from the demands of daily work to focus on your personal and professional growth.

The venue isn't simply where the retreat takes place. It's an essential part of the experience, creating the ideal atmosphere for an executive retreat where learning, wellness, networking and renewal come together.

What’s on the agenda for the Leadership Retreat & Summit for Women?

Over three days, you'll experience a carefully curated blend of executive leadership development, strategic learning, networking and wellness.

The agenda features inspiring keynote speakers, executive fireside chats, interactive learning labs, leadership sessions on AI, business acumen, executive presence, resilience and navigating change, along with peer discussions designed to tackle the challenges senior women leaders face today. You'll also enjoy wellness experiences, executive coaching opportunities, guided outdoor activities and dedicated time to connect with fellow executives in a relaxed, intimate setting.

Every session is designed to strengthen your leadership skills, executive presence and strategic thinking while helping you expand your professional network and return to your organization with practical strategies, renewed confidence and fresh perspective.

What will I leave with?

You'll return with practical leadership frameworks, stronger executive presence, greater confidence leading through change, new strategies for navigating AI and organizational transformation, and actionable ideas you can immediately apply within your organization.

Just as importantly, you'll leave with a trusted network of senior women executives and leaders from leading organizations, renewed perspective, stronger leadership confidence and practical strategies you can immediately apply within your organization.

Who’s speaking at the Leadership Retreat & Summit for Women?

Contact Ragan Customer Service to learn more about bringing two or more attendees from your organization.

Does registration support a cause?

Yes. A portion of every registration supports Ronald McDonald House Charities, helping provide housing and support for families with seriously ill children receiving medical care.
