Amy Sterner Nelson

Founder & CEO - The Riveter

Amy Sterner Nelson has spent her career in the rooms where resilience gets tested in real time - guiding founders, executives, and high-profile leaders through government investigations, board disputes, founder transitions, and reputational crises where no playbook exists. She is also the founder and CEO of The Riveter, a venture-backed national platform she launched in Seattle in 2017, raising $30 million to build a leading work and media community for Millennial and Gen X women. Before The Riveter, she spent a decade as a corporate litigator, representing Fortune 500 companies in bet-the-company disputes.

A graduate of Emory University and NYU School of Law, Amy has written for Forbes, Newsweek, The Washington Post, and The Seattle Times; spoken at Fortune Most Powerful Women, Cannes Lions, and SXSW; and reaches a community of more than 500,000 women across TikTok, Instagram, and X.
