Exceptional perks and company culture are key components of this week’s featured position.
Fortune recently announced its 100 Best Companies to Work For 2017. For the sixth straight year—and eighth time in 11 years—Google reigns supreme in terms of employee culture.
According to a review by Great Place to Work, “At Google Inc., 97 percent of employees say their workplace is great.” Their “perks to make life easier” include free daily breakfast and lunch, massage therapy, fitness classes, hair salons and more.
The review describes how it has cultivated a culture that promotes equality in the workplace. Its Employee Resource Groups held conferences in support of the LGBTQ community and featured a town hall hosted by the Black Googlers Network. Members of the Women@Google group have worked with over 7,500 girls worldwide.
