Report: Employees like working from home and don’t want to go back to an office
2020 has upended employees’ expectations and how they evaluate companies. A survey by Owl Labs illustrates how much things have changed.
Nearly two-thirds of full-time workers in the U.S. are working from home during COVID-19 pandemic, and half of the respondents in a new survey won’t even consider returning to a job that doesn’t offer post-COVID remote-work flexibility.
On top of that, 80% of workers expect to work from home at least three times per week even after COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, and 75% say they’re as productive or more so while working from home.
These are some of the findings in a “State of Remote Work” report from the videoconference device maker Owl Labs, which offers a trove of data that should fuel wellness initiatives that organizations might want to consider for 2021.
