Margarett Frisby

Margarett Frisby is the Head of Internal Communications for the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Finance & Business Management, Legal and Strategy organizations at J.P. Morgan. In this role, she serves as an advisor to CIB’s Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel and Global Head of Strategy, translating financial, regulatory and strategic priorities into clear narratives and change communications that drive alignment, trust and execution. She has been with the firm for more than five years and previously served as the Head of Internal Communications for Commercial Banking’s co-CEOs, Chief Risk Officer, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Margarett managed Internal Communications and Employee Engagement at First Midwest Bank (now Old National Bank) and at First Horizon National Corporation. She received her degree in International Relations with a concentration in Middle Eastern and African Studies from the University of Alabama. Outside of work, Margarett enjoys baking, gardening, reading, and endurance sports and has completed a full Ironman and a handful of half Ironmans. Originally from Memphis, TN, she is now based in Chicago, IL where she lives with her husband and their two dogs.
