Kathleen Mabley is Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at the Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin. She leads strategic marketing communications to elevate the college’s brand, attract top talent, build community, and increase support. She oversees a team responsible for brand strategy, enrollment marketing for undergraduate and graduate programs, executive communications, social and digital media, storytelling, graphic design and identity, and website UX, content strategy, and development. 

 Since joining UT Austin in 2006, Kathleen has held marketing and communications roles in the Graduate School, University Communications, and Texas Extended Campus. Before transitioning to higher education, she worked in corporate marketing at Cars.com, Eli Lilly, and Sara Lee Bakery—where she proudly launched Cheesecake Bites and Slices after extensive taste testing. 

 Originally from Shaker Heights, Ohio, Kathleen lives in Austin with her husband Lou, a fellow McCombs MBA alum, and their three sons.
