Ryan Henary

Ryan Henary is managing director of communications for FedEx Surface Operations, where he leads frontline communications for surface operations across the U.S. and Canada. A 24-year FedEx communications veteran, Henary has spent his career helping large, complex operational teams connect strategy, culture and day-to-day execution. Before his current role, Henary served as managing director of internal communications at FedEx Ground, where his team focused on making employee and contractor communications clear, impactful and actionable. He previously held marketing and communications leadership roles at FedEx Custom Critical, overseeing internal, external, driver, customer-facing, sales, media relations and crisis communications. His experience spans go-to-market strategy, employee engagement, frontline communications and storytelling for deskless and operational teams.
