Your leaders can’t be everywhere — but their digital twins can

Napster has found a way for employees to get in touch with leaders that might be tough to reach. But the twist is that in some cases, they’ll be conversing with a C-suite executive’s digital twin.

During Ragan’s AI Horizons Conference earlier this year, Danielle Korins, chief human resources officer at Napster, said her company is deploying AI-powered digital twins of its leaders as a new way to provide employees with guidance when they have questions.

“It’s a combination of what we bring to the table as humans and what AI can do,” Korins said. “We’re going to talk about how we use them internally at work, how we use them for our intranet communications, HR conversations, scrum meetings and CEO conversations.”

She shared an example of a use case involving AI twins at Napster, which involves meetings hosted by the company’s chief technology officer. By setting up the digital twin, the CTO gave employees a consistent place to check in with a leader without the nerves or scheduling issues that can come with a live meeting.
