A few great examples of typeface puns

There are plenty of funny fonts out there, and creative minds explore the humor in serifs and Helvetica.

The letter S stands against a field of white, pocked as if by bullets, like a lone marshal in a lawless town after a gun battle with a band of desperados. Underneath it are the words, “I shot the serif.” What wordsmith can resist humor like that? Well, all right, lots of busy communicators don’t have time for such foolishness.
