More than 3.5 million people line the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade route to kick off the holiday season, and more than 50 million watch the 90-year-old event on television for glimpses of balloons, floats, Broadway performances and more.

Both positions require at least five years of experience with traditional communications. The social media management position requires one or two years of digital media experience as well.
Both openings offer the opportunity to manage the retail chain’s campaigns, working with various department directors. Candidates should have a track record of successfully managing PR and marketing campaigns. Macy’s expects tech savvy and an ability to handle deadlines as well.
