Did McCain swipe speech material from Wikipedia? Congressional Quarterly’s Political Insider blog reports that last week’s John McCain speech on the battles in Georgia appears to have borrowed language from Wikipedia. The blog points out several close resemblances between McCain’s speech text and Wikipedia’s entry on Georgia. McCain spokesman Brian Rogers replies, “We did not copy Wikipedia in Sen. McCain’s remarks.”
