Susan C. Solomon, vice president of marketing at St. Joseph Health System in California, says that Rhoda Weiss, a Ph.D. and the former chairwoman of PRSA, taught her that strategic marketing and public relations can be powerful and game-altering for organizations and causes. “But she also taught me to be brave and to treat yourself every now and then to a killer pair of shoes,” Solomon says.
