Almost half of the American workforce will be working from home by 2016. Here’s what you need to know about flexible work options.

Sixty-one percent of people say working from home would help them be more productive because they wouldn’t have to deal with office politics, interruptions from colleagues and commuting stress, an infographic from Technology Advice says.

More shocking is that 82 percent say they would be more loyal to their employers if they could work from home and enjoy other flexible work options.

If so, you aren’t alone. Telecommuting and flexible work schedules are on the rise. In fact, 63 million Americans will be working from home by 2016.
