JCPenney apologizes for T-shirt that says, ‘Too pretty to do homework’
The shirt has caused a social media uproar.
Nothing like a good old fashioned social media firestorm to lead you into the holiday weekend—unless, of course, you’re the company that sparked it.
Today, that company is JCPenney, which is apologizing for a T-shirt it’s selling that says, “I’m too pretty to do homework so my brother has to do it for me.”
The promo copy for the shirt reads: “Who has time for homework when there’s a new Justin Bieber album out? She’ll love this tee that’s just as cute and sassy as she is.”
Being smart is so last season.
