Abbey Lampert leads the social media strategy for the Port of Seattle. As manager of the organization’s brand and voice on social media, she executes storytelling content and marketing campaigns for seven social media channels representing the Port of Seattle and the nation’s eighth busiest airport, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. She focuses on creating content that supports the Port’s objectives around economic development, environment and sustainability, and capital programs at the airport and seaport. Lampert creates and implements marketing campaigns targeted at making Sea-Tac Airport travelers’ and Seattle cruise passengers’ experiences more enjoyable and efficient. Her significant experience in emergency and crisis communications also qualifies her to lead the digital and social media on-call team. Prior to her current position, Lampert managed social media for Puget Sound Energy and lead the utility’s storm communication efforts with a social-media-first strategy.
