Anna Martin is the Head of Modernizing McDonald’s within the Global Communications organization at McDonald’s, where she helps lead digital transformation and integrated storytelling efforts across global audiences. A seasoned marketing and communications executive, she is known for developing creative, culturally relevant narratives across social, digital and experiential platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to align communications with business priorities and brand goals. Before joining McDonald’s, Anna held senior leadership roles at Nike, including Director of Global Consumer Communications, where she led strategic communications, creative campaigns, events and media relations for Nike Men’s and Women’s initiatives. Earlier, she co-led global employee communications strategy for more than 75,000 Nike employees, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives. She also previously led the Portland office of Game Seven Agency, part of Excel Sports Management.
A former collegiate and professional athlete, Anna was a standout women’s basketball player at DePaul University, earning two All-American honors before playing professionally in Iceland. She brings a team-first, performance-driven mindset to her work, blending strategic rigor with creativity and cultural insight.
