Brandy Wright is a dynamic communications leader with over 24 years of experience in the federal government, currently serving at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). With a decade in senior leadership roles, Brandy has led strategic internal communication efforts during some of the most complex public health challenges of our time.
At CDC, she plays a critical role in shaping agency-wide messaging, leading change communications, and supporting a hybrid and distributed workforce. Her work focuses on an elevated employee experience, building trust, increasing transparency, and aligning communications with organizational values and mission.
Brandy received her B.A. in Biology from Spelman College, an MPH from Morehouse School of Medicine, and an MBA from Mercer University, along with a leadership coaching certification. She brings a unique blend of strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and real-world insight to her workâguiding teams through uncertainty while centering employee voice and engagement.
