Brittany Higginbotham

Brittany Higginbotham is the Communications & Outreach Manager for the Institute for Public Relations (IPR), a nonprofit dedicated to advancing research in public relations and corporate communications. Brittany serves as the strategic lead for IPR NEXT and its committee, driving programming, recruitment, member engagement and retention strategies. She collaborates closely with the Chair to develop initiatives that strengthen the program’s value and expand its impact. She also manages the full lifecycle of the application process, streamlining and improving efficiency. As the lead for the IPR webinar series, Brittany oversees end-to-end execution, from topic curation and speaker coordination to audience engagement and promotion. Brittany plays an integral role in the organization's communications strategy, leading media relations efforts to secure high-impact placements, developing promotional materials and supporting event marketing. She previously worked with The Zimmerman Agency, among other roles.
