Catharine Montgomery is the Founder and CEO of Better Together Agency, a Black woman-founded, AI-forward communications firm. With over 15 years of experience, she helps small teams achieve outsized results by integrating AI tools into their communications workflows without enterprise-level budgets. Catharine leads pioneering research on biases in generative AI, producing the first consumer-focused study of its kind by a communications agency. Her work examines how AI systems can either bridge or widen societal disparities, providing organizations with frameworks to implement AI ethically and effectively. Her leadership has earned recognition, including the Stevie® Award for Women in Business Best Female Entrepreneur, PRNEWS People of the Year for The New Entrepreneurs on the Block, PRNEWS Top Women Innovators for Business Entrepreneurs, and Ragan's Top Women in Communications Award and Social Impact Award. Catharine holds a B.S. in Public Relations and Marketing from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.
