Chelsea comes to Brunswick Group from Google, where she spent 5 years focused on geopolitical risk and tech policy strategy. At Brunswick, she co-leads client-facing AI work and navigates many AI-related crises at the highest levels. Most recently, she led the public policy portfolio on cybersecurity and emerging technologies and election security. Before that, she worked on the Global Affairs Strategy and Innovation team, leading scenario planning and strategic communications to help Google successfully transition into a more regulated state. Chelsea began her career at the Central Intelligence Agency, helping the US Government’s senior policymakers navigate complex geopolitical issues--and is deeply versed in strategizing about handling disinformation and deepfakes. Chelsea is also an Adjunct Professor at NYU’s Center for Global Affairs where she teaches on emerging technologies and their impact on developing countries. Additionally, she teaches tech policy and communications for the Aspen Institute’s Tech Policy Hub. Chelsea received her M.P.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and her B.A. from Emory University.
