Desiree Elsharif is a 25-year communication veteran and trusted business advisor, known for her collaborative and strategic leadership. At ServiceNow, she leads a team of communication professionals, who strive to learn and grow as they make the world work better for everyone, overseeing companywide communications, content and events for ServiceNow’s global employee and leadership audiences. Her team plays a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s enterprise talent brand. As stewards of the company culture, they bring Our People Pact and employee program to life through creativity, connected experiences, and human-centric storytelling that engage employees at all levels.
Passionate about understanding what’s on employee’s minds, Desiree uses innovative approaches to foster culture, build thought leadership, and enhance the company’s external narrative.
Prior to joining ServiceNow, she held progressively senior communications positions at Google Cloud, where she helped establish the communications function for the Tech Partners group; at Cisco, where she led the Employee Strategy, Editorial, and Events team; and at HP, developing her expertise in Employee Communications.
Outside of work, Desiree and her husband, Karim live in the California Bay Area with their three children- Luca, Gia, and Nico. She enjoys working out, baking and traveling, and is a fan of a good joke. Fittingly one of Desiree’s favorite holidays is April Fools’ Day, reflecting on her belief that humor and relationships are essential in life, both at home and work.
