Janella Escobar

Janella Escobar is a seasoned communications professional currently responsible for all facets of communications & brand development for DPR Construction. Prior to joining DPR Construction, Escobar served as the Head of Corporate Communications for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. Janella also spent many years with FedEx Corporation handling global communications for the company. In addition, Janella served as Director of Public Relations for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital providing strategic counsel to senior management and coordinating cross functional teams to ensure consistent communication throughout the organization. Escobar also spent several years with Hilton Hotels Corporation as Senior Manager of Brand Communications where she was the primary corporate spokesperson for the Homewood Suites brand and led the international diversification of the concept into Canada, Mexico and India

Janella’s background also includes work in print journalism as well as radio and television both as producer and on-air talent. Among her professional achievements is membership into the Arthur W. Page Society, which is the premier professional association for distinguished senior corporate communications executives. Janella has also been awarded a PRSA Silver Anvil Award for the FedEx Panda Express campaign and a Gold SABRE Award for the FedEx Sea Turtle Rescue.
